Odyssey House Business Women’s Lunch

12 Mar 2015

Only 1 week until The Odyssey House Business Women’s Lunch fundraising for the Janus Mental Health Program

Nothing about mental illness is simple.  Couple that with addiction and we face an enormous challenge to the rehabilitation of our clients.  Over 57% of Odyssey House residents suffer mental illness, along with addiction.  The Janus Program provides appropriate treatment, therapy and counselling for these residents

There are no easy answers to the problems of drug and alcohol misuse in our society and the reality is that drug and alcohol problems are not confined to an isolated few.  However, research has consistently shown that rehabilitation can work.

Odyssey House has helped over 35,000 people since 1977.  Almost 70% of residents from the Odyssey House program remain drug and alcohol free after a year.

Tuesday, 19 May, 2015- 12:30pm start.  Ends at 2:30pm

Ivy Ballroom, 330 George Street, Sydney

Odyssey House is excited to bring together inspiring women to discuss the connection between career and community involvement.
