Curriculum

Odyssey College is registered with NSW Education Standards Authority for Stage 6 subjects. We have a limited, yet targeted curriculum which enables clients within the residential program to upskill in readiness for re-entry into the workplace.

We also offer opportunities to participate in activities that are not prescribed by NESA which will enrich your experience at Odyssey House.

Subjects

Upon admission to the residential program, clients will participate in various courses including;

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Visual Art
  • Industrial Technology
  • Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)
  • Work and the Community

A Certificate II in Hospitality is also offered.

Co-Curricular Activities

Whilst in the residential program, clients may participate in other activities including:

  • Recreation Days (Ten-Pin Bowling, Cinema outings)
  • Dragon Boating
  • Forklift Courses
  • White Card Courses
  • Traffic Controllers Course
  • First Aid Certificate
  • LinkedIn Learning

These are all offered with little or no cost for residents.
