The Executive


Julie Babineau- Chief Executive Officer

Julie has held leadership positions in the health and community services sectors in both Australia and Canada.  She has a wealth of experience in policy, planning and strategy as well as an extensive knowledge of the health needs of populations in need. For seven years Julie was the CEO NSW Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network, which serves a diverse and vulnerable population.  While CEO, Julie led substantial reforms at JH&FMHN that saw the expansion of services to courts, community and adolescent settings while promoting a patient centred approach.  All the roles Julie has held have involved addressing a myriad of health issues, including drug and alcohol addiction and mental health issues. Julie is also an advisory council member of NSW Ambulance and a non-executive director of Variety NSW, the Children’s Charity.  Julie has also been a regular volunteer providing personal support to people experiencing mental illness and the disadvantaged.

Margaret Noonan - Chief Operating Officer

Margaret has over 10 Years experience working in the not for profit sector managing community and residential services for Spinal Cord Injuries, Vision Australia and Ronald McDonald House Randwick before joining the team at Odyssey House in 2012.   She also has experience in the corporate sector having worked in international telecommunications in commercial negotiations, product management and the setting of commercial standards between developing and developed countries.   She has been on the Board of Spinal Cord Injuries Australia and is currently a Board member of the Mount Saint Joseph Trust.

Loretta Watts - Financial Controller and Company Secretary

Loretta has worked in the Finance field for 30 years and with Odyssey House since 2010.  Loretta has a Bachelor of Commerce – Business majoring in Accounting and is a Fellow with the Institute of Public Accountants.  Loretta’s experience in Accounting ranges from Financial services with AMP, Franchising with Ultra Tune, Manufacturing with CSR, Procter and Gamble and  Maxi Trans and the Not for Profit sector including Wesley Mission, Playgroup NSW and Fairfield Community First step before joining Odyssey House.  Loretta is a Board member of the Mount Saint Joseph Trust and Softball NSW, Director of Finance.





Christine Campbell - Marketing and Fundraising Manager

Christine has 7 years experience managing marketing and communications and fundraising projects for Leukaemia Foundation and Youth Off The Streets before joining Odyssey House NSW in January 2016. Her experience includes brand and reputation management, establishing and building a Marketing and Communications department within a Not-for-Profit, fundraising planning and implementation, and being a trusted advisor to the business. She also has 9 years For-profit experience in the public relations industry both in the UK and in Australia working on multinational clients such as IBM and Adobe.
