McDonald’s Charity Night Oct 15
Macarthur
McDonald’s Charity Fun Nights. Each month local McDonald's stores have
a Charity Fun night and proceeds from the night go towards a local
charity. We are fortunate to be selected for the month of October.
This year’s event will be held on Wednesday 15 October, with 10 per cent of sales generated from the charity fun night being donated back to Odyssey House. Please support your local McDonalds and support Odyssey House at the same time.
2008 Australian Fund Managers Awards
Come and celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Fund Managers Awards at Star City.
Each year the Australian Fund Manager Awards are presented as a sign of recognition of excellence in the investment industry.
The pinnacle of these awards is the Golden Bull Award which is given in recognition of the outstanding fund manager of the year.

Goulburn to Citi Cycling Classic 2007
The Goulburn to Citi cycling classic (as it is now known) is older than the Tour De France. The charity ride, held on 23rd September was organised to assist the fundraising efforts of Odyssey House and several other charities including the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation, Bear Cottage, the Starlight Foundation and the New South Wales Goulburn District Community Palliative Care and Oncology Unit.2008 Real Men Cook for Odyssey
Odyssey House will hold its annual fundraiser, 'Real Men Cook' at bel mondo restaurant, at the Rocks on 28th July, 2008. The event, which started in 2000, has grown each year and sells out virtually as soon as tickets go on sale. This year’s event was no different as 140 people attended to support the Odyssey House services, enjoy a fantastic lunch and to interact with, and be entertained by some of Sydney’s most familiar male celebrities.
Odyssey Receives National Recognition for Family Support Group (2006)
Odyssey House has been named as one of the finalists in this year’s National Drug and Alcohol Awards! The nomination was made for the program, “Better Relationships In Every Family” (B.R.I.E.F.). BRIEF is a psycho educational program which is conducted over a 6 week period. Residents in treatment and their family and/or loved one participate in the group sessions in order to establish a platform from which the family is able to move forward.Milton Luger One Day Forum 2008 (as part of Drug Action Week)
