Odyssey Ladies Luncheon hosted by Perpetual and Audrey Page & Associates.
This luncheon features a talk from Professor Kay Wilhelm AM Consultation-Liason Psychiatry expert at St Vincent's Hospital. Kay has had extensive experience and has been associated with the clinical and research arms of the Mood Disorders Unit for over 20 years and is a member of the New South Wales Medical Board. Kay is the author of more than 175 papers and book chapters and a number of educational workshops.
The topic of her presentation will be Urban mental health around city living and the impact of drugs and alcohol.

2010 Odyssey House Rugby Dinner
Eleven years ago they took on the best world rugby had to offer, and won. Coached by Rod Macqueen and Captained by John Eales the 1999 Wallabies became Rugby World Cup champions on a chilly afternoon at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

Odyssey by the Bay
‘Callooa’ is the beautifully restored colonial home of Paul and Ros Espie who have graciously made their property available to Odyssey House for a late summer cocktail party next February.
Built in the 1850’s,Callooa has extensive verandas, lush gardens and sweeping views over Rushcutters’ Bay and the Harbour beyond.
ATS Treatment Protocol
Treatment Protocol in Intervention developed for the use of staff and clinicians working with ATS clients of Therapeutic Communities.
A
new treatment protocol has been developed to meet the particular needs
of people who are dependent on amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) and
undertaking rehabilitation over several
months in a therapeutic community [footnote1]
(other forms of ATS treatment are usually much shorter in duration).
Amphetamine-type substances are part of the psycho-stimulant group of
drugs
and include methamphetamine, speed, ice and ecstasy.
Pengana Goulburn to Citi Corporate Charitiy Ride 2009
The Pengana Goulburn to Citi cycling classic (as it is now known) is older than the Tour De France. The corporate charity ride, was held on 20th September was organised to assist the fundraising efforts of Odyssey House and several other charities including the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation, Bear Cottage, the Starlight Foundation, the Ben Mikic Foundation and the New South Wales Goulburn District Community Palliative Care and Oncology Unit.
Tribute to Peter S M Philips
Odyssey House lost one of its founding Board members due to the passing of Peter Philips on May 11 of this year. Peter joined the Board of Odyssey House in 1977 at the urging of its Founder, the late Walter McGrath.

2009 Australian Fund Manager Awards
The 11th Anniversary of the Fund Manager Awards at Star City was held on October 29, 2009.
Each year the Australian Fund Manager Awards are presented as a sign of recognition of excellence in the investment industry.
This years event acknowledges the outstanding performers in what many have classed as an economic melt down with the Global Financial Crisis.
We congratulate the finalist and winners in each division and wish the participants in the 2009 Australian Fund Manager Awards Calcutta to see who comes out with the best performing stock.
