Admissions & Intake Centre

The Odyssey House Admission and Intake Centre takes all admissions inquiries.

Admissions are subject to availability and meeting the assessment criteria.

To organise an assessment for our programs, the person seeking treatment need to do the following:

  1. Call us at 12.30 pm on a Monday, 9281 5144. We ask that you continue to ring until you to a staff member. Do not leave a message.
  2. When you get through, we will complete a first contact form with you and then if we think we can progress the assessment you are then booked in for a full assessment some time that week. We usually do about 4 assessments per day.

If the client is in custody:

  1. Have a rehab assessment approved by the court.
  2. The person in custody seeks assistance with organising the assessment by contacting the alcohol and drug worker / social workers in the correctional centre.
  3. The correctional centre staff contact us – assessment@odysseyhouse.com.au - to obtain a time and date for the phone interview.
  4. On the agreed day – the correctional centre staff bring the person to our office
